If you’re interested in joining the orchestra, we’d love to hear from you!
We're currently looking for double basses and drums/percussion to join us. There is a waiting list to join for all other instruments, so please email info@hackneycommunityorchestra.co.uk and let us know what you play.
We’re a learning orchestra, playing for fun - but you will need to be able to read music, be of an intermediate standard and you’ll need to have your own instrument.
Your first session is free and then if you’d like to join us it’s £65 for the autumn term or £32.50 if you can only make less than half of the sessions. However, we do offer a 50% concession rate for those who need it.
2026 TERM DATES
Autumn: 10 September - 10 December
2027 TERM DATES
Spring: 7 January - 25 March
Summer: 15 April - 15 July
